UPDATE AUGUST 1ST 2005

REMISSION !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The cancer is gone. Both scans came back as clean as they could be. I meet with radiology on Friday. Even though there is no more cancer I still have to go through radiation. The doctor said it is the best treatment. He said with radiation after chemo the chance of relapse is nearly 0%. He said we have to do what we can to assure it doesn't come back. Hodgkins is not as curable the second time around. He said that radiation will be a breeze compared to Chemo with few side effects. I will be receiving radiation to lymph nodes on both sides of neck and under my arms. Im kinda not sure what to think Im not sure everything has sunk in until now. I get to join the cancer free club that's all that matters. Thanks to everybody for your support. Hope to see you on August 13th......

Jason, I said a few prayers myself over the weekend. Congratulations! If anyone could overcome all the $%^&* in life, it's you. (It must have been all the tickets you wrote at El Dorado over the weekend.) Again, I'm thankful for your good news and can't wait for you to get back to work. --Carol

Finally you can breathe a sigh of relief - I know you must be so happy and feel like a weight has been lifted from your shoulders. It is hard to put into words how we feel right now - We both have shed tears for you many a time and didn't want you to know how scared we were for you, but God does listen to all of those wonderful people who prayed for you. By your many postings it is amazing how even people you don't know pray for you knowing that he will provide.
Your strength and attitude has really shown your true character these last few months. Regardless of things that have happened in the past you should have a new outlook on life and a fresh and new beginning - grab it as tight as you can and enjoy life!

Congratulations, Jason!! What a long road you've been down - that slippery slope called chemotherapy. But you made it, thank God!! Success couldn't have come to a nicer person. The worst is over and, hopefully, the best is yet to come for you. You are always in our thoughts and prayers. See you on the 13th - can't wait to see that big smile!!
Mary and Don, Chauncey too!!
